Biblical "Contradictions" #5: Biblical Geocentrism & Supported Earth?

Many atheists like to exploit apparent errors in the bible. In this series of videos, I will be refuting some of the claims made by them.
In this video, I tackle the old favourite that the bible teaches the geocentrism theory and says that the Earth is supported.

Haha, this is pretty funny, you remind me of Edward Current. Some apologists don't even bother trying to take verses in for surgery, they just pretend not to know their Bible and or doubt its 'translation'! Great stuff, man!

Oh, I have one for you.

Jesus made a prophecy which failed miserably. He predicted his return to Earth, his 2nd coming, during the lifetimes of his disciples. He even told Caiaphas the high priest that he'd live long enough to witness his return.

Unfortunately, JC didn't make it back when he predicted he would return, sitting to the right of his fathers throne,in all his glory.

I'm sorry but you cannot claim that we are the only life in the entire universe. All those quadrillions of galaxies, stars and planets out there and you would presume that only this insignificant speck of dirt on the edge of the Milky way are the only life forms??? Utterly ridiculous!!

No I'm afraid not.

Jesus, who was supposed to be god, didn't even know to wash his filthy hands B4 eating, and was criticized for it. I'd expect god to know all about the Germ Theory. He certainly created and inflicted man with enough deadly germs....the plagues, AIDS, etc.

Jesus shoulda at least told early man of germs, but nooo!

This is complete myth. The Bible has 1000s of indisputable evidences of it's accuracy and truth, often centuries and millenia ahead of the best scientists. It is no more difficult to test and distinguish true religions from false than it is to distinguish true science from false in most cases.

@FlyingFree333 Would you care to look at the history of atheism in the last 100 years? I live next to North Korea, a completely intolerant& extremely abusive state,quite typical of what happens when a state goes officially atheist (France during French revolution, Russia under Stalin,China under Mao,many others). Atheism has killed more in 100 years than religion in 1000s (even including the major enemies of the Bible, Catholics)

I, for one, only exploit the errors in the Bible when I guess that the person I am talking to either isn't clever enough to work his way out of them or realize that they will look as if they are trying to force it to be true.

But mostly I just like collecting the different justifications.
