Detroit airport.. Nothing like getting dumped there for 14 hours "for my convenience" So NW could try to get its finger out of its ass. Only the first 2 planes didn't work, so now I get to sit in Detroit for 14 hours waiting for the third for my flight to Amsterdam (from Seattle). Did I mention that the flight from Seattle was delayed 5 hours? Was going for my Sister in laws 50th, but never made it, ended up going home instead.... NW sucks.

Of the 5 million people in metro Deroit, 4 million live in one of its 200 suburban cities, and most of them probably cleaner, safer and cozier than where you live. Oakland County alone is the 4th wealthiest in the nation!

They've spent $3 Billion in upgrades and building replacement since 2002. There are now three new terminals at DTW. The original terminal bldgs have all been razed. Some have said Detroit's DTW is now the nicest major airport in North America.
