［蕭愷一］莎士比亞的情詩（6）靜夜思

我不算是個多愁善感的人（小弟只是個思想簡單直接的男生），但有時候夜闌人靜時，總會想到以前，想起小時候的生活，想起家裡養的兩頭小狗，想起壯年時充滿活力的爸媽，想起­自己因他們久出未歸而坐在鞋櫃上哭個不停，想起小學的生活，學校中做過的壞事，欠交的功課，作弄過的人，喜歡過的女孩，拒絕過的女孩...... 不知怎的，回憶中的東西，好像都經藍色玻璃紙過濾過一樣，帶點藍藍的，憂鬱的顏色。

今天我們再看一首 Shakespeare 的 sonnet，主題，正是晚間的胡思亂想。去片。


原文：

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:

Then can I drown an eye, unus'd to flow,
For precious friends hid in death's dateless night,
And weep afresh love's long-since cancell'd woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight.

Then can I grieve at grievances forgone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er
The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before.

But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restor'd, and sorrows end.
