Leon Cooper, Higgins boat commander in the South Pacific Campaign of World War II, sets the record straight on the decisions that led to the senseless loss of American lives in the battle for the South Pacific.
interesting video. I have read about problems with B-29's in production and know many were lost flying the long haul to Japan from breakdowns and damage, but thousands?? I will have to read your book. I dont think thousands pancaked into the drink as you said but believe you in the fact many did. I will look for you book and glad men like you are getting information out to the world before it is lost.
