The caller should have brought up British atrocities against the Chinese; Opium Wars, invasion of Chinese lands and forcing them into treaty areas and murdering anyone who disagreed, forcing Chinese people to convert to christianity while dismissing Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism as heathen and satanic, and refusing to allow Chiang Kai-shek's army to garrison Hong Kong from Japanese attacks.

PS: Guangdong has been historically a sea-port for China. Traders all the way from India and Persia were already trading there, way before the British had arrived. Now, that's a fact.

This program is disgusting. Honestly, how do those people even get air-time at all? They don't deserve it. Their opinions are so biased and it only serves to encourage the delusional hatred some individuals have towards China. I am Chinese myself and I never seen ONE program where the Chinese talks about the opium wars, the occupation of Hong Kong, the unfair treaties you Brits posed to us!

I am pro Tibetan, i believe Tibetianese should have their own free country, but in the same time i do agree about english and american hypocrisy. The most attrocities around the world were/are carried out by Brits and Americans. I spit on that hypocrisy. Why are some many people on here saying 'Free Northern Ireland' or 'Free Scotland'? It's ridiculous to compare Scotland or N. Ireland to Tibet. As medeas said, the Scots and Northern Irish are free, unlike Tibetians. Scotland and Northern Ireland are allowed to become independent, unlike Tibet. It's so annoying as I bet those people who say 'Free Northern Ireland' or 'Free Scotland' think they're being so clever when in fact they're just showing how ignorant they are!

@SuperTrekNerd The Scotas and Irisah are as free as Chinese compared to Tibetans. Northern Ireland can never be independent because it already overrun with Scots Protestant immigrants. North Sea Oil is almost exhausted, too bad on the Scots. Again, China will not let 0.5 percent of its population determine 1/4 of its territory. The caller to the progrqam was right, the UK is a hypocritical nation. It forgot to mention the brutal Brit invasion of 1904 on Tibet. The speakers above are morons.
