The Rock River struck a completely new path near the Hunter Brook Road bridge off of Dover Road in South Newfane. The river forged a new route directly under a house, sweeping it away in the torrent. All that remains is a portion of a small room and a few appliances, clinging to the rocks. Residents explain the destruction in this video.
I can't seem to get this particular video to play. Is it possible to forward a copy to me?

Thank you for your reply. His mom did receive an email from him. He said that he was staying with Walter and was very grateful for everyones help and kindness. We really appreciate your videos, the footage is truly amazing and helpful for us who are so far away.

As it turned out the National Guard did not pick them up. Tara and Brandon stayed a few more nights with neighbors and then Wednesday we hiked with them to get word to people in our town at a meeting in Williamsville which has since brought an outpouring of help and support for them. Yesterday we were able to drive them over to stay Walter Phelps place in Williamsville so they can start sorting out what is next. We brought their cats across the river and another neighbor is fostering their dogs
