Cde Harpal Brar, Chairman of CPGB-ML, speaking at a Party school held in Birmingham, exposes the origins of the present capitalist crisis, with reference to Marx and Engels and substantiated by contemporary historical and economic data.

Essential Viewing.

Apologies for video quality (heads will roll!), but it's still watchable and very educational!

  • And to see that blue ribbon award winning academic Marxist David Harvey in the suggested videos to the right makes this presentation all the more crucial to watch. Harvey says, based on a footnote fom Capital, that Crisis is due to several reasons. He says that finance and dervatives have changed capitalism away from production and labor and that the problem of labor was "solved" under neoliberalism via overseas production

Do you Think you can condense this to one video now?

  • @dialectical44 Thanks comrade - agree this is still essential viewing, and as relevant and informative as the day it was made!

  • In these crises, a great part not only of the existing products, but also of the previously created productive forces, are periodically destroyed. In these crises, there breaks out an epidemic that, in all earlier epochs, would have seemed an absurdity — the epidemic of over-production. '

  • Great discussion but that picture of Slalin in the background is really not going to help the cause.

  • no, I don't. Who are you to decide what is warranted and what isn't? I stated something that's true, at least for my 7 years of professionally shooting video. When I see a poorly shot piece of video that had an obvious, easy fix, it drives me up a wall. And seeing as how I'm a socialist, I'd like to see higher quality videos and better representations of candidates.

  • It still makes you an arrogant prick though. There are ways of giving advice, if it was even warranted...it's just a recording of a fucking talk, know what I'm saying??

  • very perceptive, I forgot to type two letters. That doesn't make my point any less valid- this videographer didn't know what he was doing.

  • How do you move to the left right? Is that like faster but slower?
