@mushere2k9 a proper VTEC has a smooth crossover point. higher VTEC engagement produces a louder, more noticable sound, but later in the powerband so it isn't getting the full effect that it should. Drag racers don't care about this, but those of us who take them to track days appreciate the power in the midrange RPMs. Think about this, you're slowing down for a corner but not enough to downshift to the lower gear, so you stay in the same gear at mid-rpm when you come out of it full throttle

i HAVE A B20/B16 HEAD IN A AWD CRV 5SPEED AND I LOVE IT, STILL RUNNING MID 14.5 STOCK. lol. IM JUST NOT SURE WHAT BOOST TO RUN WHEN I INSTALL MY T3T4 TURBO KIT TO BE SAFE AND WHAT ECU TO RUN.

They only use the b20 block in combination with a b16a or b18c Vtec head..
Not the complete B20b engine.

@SinsEvil666 i dont know why ppl use the b20b engine... it only has 146 hp and like130 lbs of torque stock... i have an f22b1 which has more torque than a b20. personally i wouldnt think its worth it...btw f22 are great for low boost setup bcuz they have low compression

well if it says type r b20.. I would say its a type R head... and stock b20vtecs put out 175-185 hp.. with only i/h/e not 200

what u running on there? b18 or b16 head? also, what whp and tq did u make? which b20 do u have? JDM, USDM and what year? i have one but still trying to figure out if its worth it.
