This amazing story is about how pro-union protesters in Madison Wisconsin are being fed 'free' pizza slices that are being paid for by protest supporters from around the world. On Saturday, the folks at Ian's Pizza, a local downtown pizzeria, posted on their FaceBook page that someone had sent in the funds over the internet to buy pizza for the protesters at the WI State Capital. That posting went viral and brought in many more up front payments. Since then, Ian's Pizza have served up thousands of 'free' slices at the WI State capital. This initiative has helped sustain the crowds who won't back down from WI Governor Scott Walker's proposed 'Budget Repair' bill which includes a call to gut collective bargaining rights for WI state workers. The public sector workers have effectively occupied the Capital Building with rally after rally for the last 7 days. A check of their FaceBook page indicates that Ian's Pizza may be expanding the selection of 'free' items to include salad and bread as well. Contact the pizzeria here:

CNN ran this news item in their 'Political Pop' segment today.
Maybe they should be ordering pizzas for the people in Libya instead.

Sir you are a terrible reporter. You keep saying "investigative journalism" yet you obviously haven't done much investigating. The board says Egypt in the top right. Way to take an amazing story and shit on it. Check out Ian's facebook for an updated (and much longer) list!

National media fails to accurately describe events, what a surprise. Egypt, not Cairo, is on the board. International countries are named not by city, but by nationality.
Thanks CNN, for:
1) Mis-reporting news
2) In doing so, marginalizing something which may dramatically impact the future of all Americans
3) Teach Americans to look at news as entertainment
4) Lying about Egypt not being on the board and saying it was Cairo
5) Spreading lies about the global outreach of the protests

Or Cairo, Illinois?

FYI, Egypt is listed on the top line at the far right. It reads "Korea, Finland, Egypt, Denmark, Australia, US, Canada, Germany, China, England, Netherlands, Turkey," and proceeds to the 50 states (which had all been marked off by around noon or noon-thirty local time Monday).
