Montana Tractors - 2006 Arkansas Business of the Year Awards

Johnelle Hunt, wife of the late trucking magnate J.B. Hunt, accepts the award for Arkansas Business of the Year (Category II, 26-75 employees) on Feb. 22, 2007 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

Johnelle Hunt is one of three owners of Montana Tractors, including Charles Goforth and Dan Downing. The company was founded in 2004 after the bankruptcy of a tractor importer in Farmington, Ark., left one of its creditors with some tractors that needed to be sold.

That creditor happened to be one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Arkansas history, J.B. Hunt.

In 2006, Montana Tractors sold almost 4,000 small tractors through a network of more than 300 dealerships around the country.
