The flexlite feels, from trying in on in the store, that it would offer the flex and range of motion than any other skate. I like my skates because they are eight years broken in and allow for a slightly larger stride than all the super stiff skates out there right now. I think this skate really stands alone in its freedom of movement and stride push off capabilities.

@706chessie I am not familiar with the 8090s. Sorry.

How do you think they compare to the Supreme 8090s?

Can these in any way be compared the bauer x50 skates? I can't find the x60's and x50's anywhere now because of the newer models and i'm looking for a skate compareable to them without a through the roof price. Prices are becoming outrageous. Thank you! Please respond. Also are these stiff or no?

@WatchMeGoBardown8 These aren't going to offer as much performance as the X60 or the X50s. The newest one comparable to those would probably be the Vapor X6.0. The Flexlites aren't gonna be as stiff as the Vapors and are a little more forgiving for a super nice fit.

Hi Erik/Tyson, I'm looking for new skates and I'm torn between the Flexlite 4.0 and the RBK 10K. I have a wide toe area, but otherwise narrow foot with a high arch. Which of these would you recommend? Or would you recommend that I consider something else?

@mose0092 The Flexlite will be a little narrower in the heel pocket but the RBK 10 will have the pump for a more custom fit. Its really personal preference but I would suggest the Flex.

@icehockeywarehouse Currently, I'm using the Vapor XXVs from a couple of generations ago (painful for my big toes). Prior to the Vapors, I used the CCM 652 Tacks with the pump, circa 1995. It remains the best skate that I've ever used. What modern skate is, in your opinion, closest to the old Tacks?

@mose0092 Probably Reeboks would be similar.
