Actually, Nancy Sinatra has had more hit records than Minnelli! She may not have been as great a performer, but Nancy knew how to make records the public wanted to listen to and that radio stations wanted to play. With the exception of movie soundtracks, Liza has never had a very little success selling records--the Grammy legend award notwithstanding.

Liza does make a crowd go crazy unlike anyone around and I have seen Liza in recent years where the audience gives her a huge prolonged standing ovation just when she enters...it is over the top but well deserved and I too will always love Liza...she is a one-of-a-kind and a truly riveting Superstar performer!

Let's take a moment to calm down.

First, I agree with australorp [I mean, my God, Liza Minnelli IS a legend]. There have been lots of other people with famous relatives who have gone nowhere [names like "Aaron Carter" and "Nancy Sinatra" come to mind].

She's one of the very few people have won all four major awards [Tony, Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy].

Bottom line is that she is fabulous, and you can just shut yourself up.

I don't care how many "sh's" she throws in. I love every one of them!
