@joesmoke69 Even the federal government says to have a bug out bag. Everything you need to survive a natural disaster. I like to be able to provide what I need for my family so I dont have to rely on others plus there might be limited amount of emergency supplies so if I dont need help more for others that dont have anything.

People use bug out bags for some weird shit nowadays. Apocalypse? Zombies? Wtf? Use them for real life scenarios such as a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, blizzard. Keep important documents handy, birth certificates, social security cards insurance card... Also I would suggest you get a bright orange bag so you DO sick out!!! If you are in a disaster situation, and a rescue team flutes by, you dont want to be all decked out camo and a ghillie suit, you want the search team to find you!!!

A black lawn and leaf (they're thick) plastic bag makes a great pack cover.

something i just saw was from a company called GOALZERO.COM they have a small solar pannel that folds up and comes with 4 rechargable AAs and a charger that it hooks up to. i am thinking of adding this to my setup as to extend the life of my lights if it goes to the long term and it can also charge AAAs so i can keep my walkies running something to thinkabout they also have larger setups i may get as genarators are good but i think i would run out of gas before i run out of sun ;)

@Soundgarden8497 no it does not....will not fit which is a good thing because its made out of plastic and it could not handle the 12 gauge shot.

A good LED flashlight upgrade would be a Rayovac Indestructable 2AA. 100 lumens on high,18 on low, tough, and waterproof. Way brighter than the Mag, and no bulb to burn out or break. About $15- at home depot.

@32937isready I dont keep my gun in my bug out bag. I have a small bag that I have already dont a video on so if I leave my bag out and it gets stolen a firearm doesnt end in the wrong hands. Or my pistol is on my side.
