Maybe I've watched too much X Factor, but I still can't believe how incredibly civil those judges were given how rubbish his act was. Simon Cowell would have left a jagged scar on this man's psyche that would have haunted him until his death (the next day, probably, via self-inflicted gunshot wound).

That's because TV used to be simply entertainment at one point, rather than satisfying one's narcissistic needs - which is one of the main reasons I abandoned my TV roughly 2 years ago, since (german) programs are full of that crap.

He was nervous, a complete amateur, no confidence, not good looking, zero stage presence...but he still had the balls to get up there and gave it a go so I gotta give him props for that, lets hope his act has improved since then! I once saw one of Lennox Lewis early amateur fights on tape...he was slow, and got beat up really good - embarrassed really, but he kept it up and kept practising and look what happened...became champion of the world!
