@Puck90a First of all, you shouldn't generalize a group of people by what a few of them say. Secondly, I never told you I had it hard in America so don't pin that assumption on me. Thirdly, I work full time as well and work hard for what I have and for what I can afford. Some people have jobs that pay them more than others. That's all I can tell you. Sorry you feel the way you do though. Be happy with what you got.

Would you mind me asking what you do for a living and how much you make? This is currently my dream car and with my major and job in the future i'm looking at making close to 100k. Would I be able to afford this 70k beast on a salary like that?

@kmann1994 Well, I don't really discuss my finances online to strangers but I have money put away and a nice income. And yes, with good credit and a decent downpayment you'll be able to afford this car with a 100K salary.

yeah man, just be aware of the warranty... 1 year or 12000 miles isn't too bad.. just realize when its over its over lol. the v700 package is gonna run you about $20,000 and that included installation and a couple little extras for the interior. so the v1000 might be up there. and gas would be a problem 14 city 19 highway stock. gotta keep that in mind too. nah man i wish i had a 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8.. i own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP... rides nice.

@auburnchamps1 Yeah, I totally feel you on that. I just got through talking to the Hennessy guys and the v1000 is 68K!!! Craziness. Might as well buy another car haha. Pontiac G8 is a nice ride, man! My buddy has one. It's black with red interior. I was thinking about getting one of those when I was car shopping.

@Hoss2678 lmao, Hey Bro, tell that guy hes a fucking idoit to compare a cts-v coupe(Greatness) to a srt-8 300(ok little sports car with crappy 5speed transmittion, terrible handling, no magnetic ride control, no refined luxury, slower 0-60 time, and qauter mile, not even close on the track, still a crappy chrysler, and no prestige!). Thier really not in the same league! This car Stacks up against greats like my fav the bmw m3 and the Audi rs5. srt8 300 no where in the ball park!

$68,000! wow! that's higher then i thought it was going to be...but if i were you i would  try to go with the v700 kit... i've heard nothing but good things about it man. yeah man its a nice car... 6.2 L V8 had it tested with 450 horsepower 1 month back... and yeah mines black with black interior. nice but you made a good call with the CTS-V.

@auburnchamps1 No I feel you on the warranty deal. I'm looking very closely at that. 1 year 12000 mile but I can't expect anything better than that. Did you see their coming out with a v1000??? That's freaking nuts and I bet that will cost a grip! I might take my chances and go with it. We'll see though. Gas would go in a flash though so it might not be smart haha. Chrysler 200 SRT8 is a sick car though. You got one?

sorry it was 556 horsepower. i've been researching and have experienced some of the fastest cars in the area... the only problem with the v700 Hennessy package is it leaves little room for engine space. i recently helped with a dyno test on a 2007 Chrysler 300 SRT8 at 628 horsepower. LPM Heads, Kooks Headers (the best) and updated 60lbs fuel injectors, along with 3.91 gear ratios. Caution: look at warranty of engine before making the transfer.

@auburnchamps1 It's all good, bro. Totally see what you're saying but...Let me say this. 556HP not 500HP. And I can afford it so cheaper isn't that much of an issue to me. But to just give you props, I did go cheaper. The Bugatti costs more :-) Now, the Hennessy v700 package to supercharge mine even more....Let's just say your Chrysler won't even come close even if you supercharge it. Cheaper isn't always better, bud. Thanks for playing though! haha

i wouldn't waste $70,000 on a 500 horsepower car... but i would spend $40,000 on 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 with 465 horsepower and then supercharge it... still less money and way faster then the coupe... not bagging your car... just sayin theres more bang for your buck out there.

Fuckin awesome. I was racing this along with a Ferrari F430 and late 90s RX7 in my GTI yesterday night and the CTS destroyed us, I didn't know it came stock with 556 horses and did 0-60 in 3.9 sec till I came home and looked it up... and I agree automatic is for fuckin pussys and if you can't drive stick you shouldn't be driving a car like this.
