I hate this new intro. I prefere the old logo and the little jingle when you start the game. Don't sony have any respect for the origainal ps3 like i have. Least the update has iplayer...

I have the PS3 that has a new startup which is under firmware 3.0 with a new logo on the screen. This startup screen works great on both the new PS3 slim and the original PS3 with the old logo on the side.

I prefer the simplistic "Sony Computer Entertainment" boot-up but the new boot-up is nice, wish there was an option where you could choose the boot-up settings.
And why did they get rid of the "PLAYSTATION 3" chime when starting a game?!
