  • I would advise everyone to read more and more about this amazing man. In all my years of being supposedly taught about him in K - 12, I never knew him fully until I ventured out and read on my own. His life is an amazing story and the best place to start would be his book, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.

  • One of the best written books on this period of history is Frederick Douglass's third biography: The Life and Times of Frederick Douglass.
