Not sure where this guy learned, but after doing lindy since 1976, I'm not sure he's someone anyone should learn from.

WTF! Rock step kick step kick hang in neutral under the body on ct 6, then reach back and touch toe on ct 7 and then settle heel on ct 8. There is no "Hop Hop" in the charleston basic

Where the hell do these guys get the idea that this is something that should be taught. This is about as close to correct Charleston footwork as it is to being an accurate lesson on Argentine Tango. And that "basic" is a horribly failed attempt at a swing-out. Please do not use this video to learn steps, unless you want people at the social dance staring at you, saying "what the hell are you doing???" These guys need to go take a lesson with a real Lindy Hop professional.
