Zelda: Majora's Mask - Oath To Order (Metal cover)

This is me playing a metal cover of Oath to Order from Zelda: Majora's Mask. The arrangement was made by me, but was heavily influenced by the orchestral version of the piece. This is also a part of the Metallic Pixels project.

A few comments: The acoustic guitar sometimes sounds a bit out of tune. That's what you get for having it tuned in E with the same strings for about a year and then suddenly tune it down a step. The acoustic parts were, by the way, incredibly frustrating to record. You could hear ever tiny teensy weensy mistake super clear with the settings I had to use. Apart from that, arranging and recording it was fun, but it took a while.

I'm using my Ibanez RG270DX for the electric guitar parts and my Ibanez AWCELG for the acoustic parts (double Ibanez, hooo!), everything through my Pod X3 Live. Cubase took care of the drums, bass and various keyboard parts (organ, choir, strings), and everything was mixed in Sony ACID 5.0.

In this song everything is tuned down a full step, from E to D:
