  • @KristoffersonPT Possible if he's using higher CR pistons than the other evo's. 40psi with high Comp Ratio pistons and the engines gonna be scrap no matter what. Higher CR = lower pressure needed to achieve the same power. This creates more room for future building. Bigger exhaust will help reduce lag a bit.

  • @FloorKillazNixanDK Thats impossible, i dont know where you are getting 1.6 bar from. Look at any of the high horsepower evos in the world and on youtube, all running over 40 psi.

    +1mm Stainless Steel Intake Valves (1800 degrees max.)

    +1mm Inconel Exhaust Valves (2400 degrees max.)

    Those are the racin valves mitsu have.

    He did 1.6 bar in 2009 with 1255 hp, end of story..

  • @FloorKillazNixanDK Well i dont think hes on standard valves if hes on a race perpared ams engine. Also why not just use a smaller turbo for less lag if the turbo is at less than half of its potential. If they are running only 20psi, then whoever picked the turbo did a terrible job. But i still do not think you can get 1155 horse on 20psi. That is less than stock boost levels on an evo, a downgrade especially if he is on standard valves theres just no way.

  • @KristoffersonPT Think about...He's running 11000 rpm, with standard valves and stuff.

    If he turns the bars up to arround the 50 psi, he will blow the engine up!

    He's only running 20 psi to spare he's parts.

    But im 100% sure that he can run far over 20 psi, maby up to 35-40 but then he's parts will be overloaded like fuck!

  • @FloorKillazNixanDK Yeah thats my point, its running a gt42R that a huge turbo, there would be no point to have that big of a turbo and only run 20 pounds of boost. That turbo is capable of about 50psi on that engine if not more, so im sure its running a lot more than 20 psi.
