live at the '89 Glastonbury Festival

'Vicki's Box' first debuted on TM's 1985 "Doghouse" cassette, and a re-recorded version appeared on the band's untitled 1986 album for 4AD. (both versions can be found on the 'In A Doghouse' double cd).

  • @jmm122 - I was at that show at the Paradise! I preferred Throwing Muses over the Pixies back then. They sounded like nothing else around.

  • Tanya looks like she could have been a fill-in at West Beverly high or Donna's friend in 90210

  • i saw the pixies open for the muses at the paradice ..i think it was a long time ago..rich gilberet was in the audience ..human sexual responce

  • wow! thanks so much for uploading this concert!

  • Dave Narcizo is like "Cymbals?! I don't need no STINKING cymbals!"

  • @Timmybear I can't 'thumbs up' this enough! It really, really gets on my nerves, not to mention how disheartening and annoying it must be for performers. Personally if I'm really not interested in a support act I will usually spend the time at the bar, at the back, wherever, I know what it's like to be on stage and have a bunch of people talking through your set...

  • @zararity - I remember one of the first concert reviews I wrote, which it took place in a small auditorium. These women in front of me talked loudly through the opening act, a solo performer. I leaned over and said: 'You know, if you walk ten feet behind you, you can stand in the lobby and talk there, if it's boring to you. Some of us are trying to enjoy the show, and this place is too small for such loud conversation. Have a little consideration for others.'
