This is my first attempt to make a short 'piece' using footage filmed on my Canon 5d MKII at the Carnegie Basketball double bill. I used two lens, the 70-200mm and the 16-35mm and wanted to see how flexible the cameras video function is to film decent shots and sequences. Unfortunately and obviously the camera isn't a dedicated video camera and simple flaws like focusing and zooming at the same time are extremely evident, some of the shots work really well but I'm now aiming to develop my technique to produce something more content heavy in the future.
his is one of my first tester video's using the Canon 5D MK II HD video mode using the 70-200mm lens. The video is Leeds Met scoring a goal during their encounter with Loughborough University in the Netball Northern Premier league final game of the season.
Fantastic video Adam, that penalty/zoom to drum shot at the end is awesome.

Cheers man, all this practice will lead to newer, extremer snowboard footage in the future
