This is a smaller version of the national Winter Soldier: Iraq & Afghanistan that took place March 13 - 16 in Washington DC. Here is the first part of Jon Turner's testimony.

The US army brainwashed soldiers. Instilled racist ideologies. Put uneducated and immoral people in front of deadly weaponry. Rewarded war crimes, and encouraged them. If you think that any American solider who doesn't stand up and admit those facts deserves respect, you are very wrong indeed. Fuck those 'who have died for their country'. He, my friends, is what you call a shitbag. He should have been weeded out before or during basic. What a disgrace. If he was worth anything, he wouldn't be disrespecting the uniform and those who came before him. Maybe it's his way of dealing with the fact that he chose (not ordered to) kill - probably doesn't feel deserving to wear the uniform. Good. We saw you throw it aside.
