"Get Angry for the Right Reasons"well the very fact that the animal rights groups set out with their propagandist videos or demonstrations knowing full that the majority of urban people have never seen their food or clothing killed before, for example at 4:40 these 3 teens were so disgusted by their so called "experience" more like freshly brainwashed! bring those same kids to an indoor slaughter house, then after ask them if they would like a burger ! my thoughts exactly!

Actually, most people are brainwashed NOT to question what really goes on in the seal hunt, OR most slaugtherhouses. These young men are taking a sincere stand against cruelty, having had their eyes opened to both the beauty of undisturbed wildlife, and the horrors of the hunt.

Given their principled willingness to rethink seal kill propaganda, they might indeed begin to question other forms of cruelty as well.

You shouldn't underestimate the intelligence of young Canadians.

Well you'd be wrong, gunner. The only story most people regualry hear about the seal hunt IS the employment angle.

You know damn well that the industry is well represented in this country, with government support and dollars getting YOUR message about JOBS out there at the expense of other issues...like cruelty and shameful waste.

And since when did widespread cruelty make the seal hunt acceptable by default!? People make ethical choices all the time that reduce harm. SO CAN YOU.

besides if they were asked the question first for example! how many times have you seen animals slaughtered in your life time? is it the same as you seen other animals killed? if so why? and notice how the girl asking the question about the beauty & brutality of what goes on out on the ice flows, now i am pretty damn sure they never explained why this happens or the jobs that it creates? i am thinking no they didn't! so mislead or brainwashed it falls into that category of propaganda!

define your interpretation of the horrors of the hunt! please & thank you! the intelligence of the average young on such matters depends on where & how they are raised! kids that age think that they are the masters of all knowledge! if you have kids you will agree yes/no?in actual fact they are oblivious to the way life happens away from the comforts of their cozy everything killed wrapped packaged out of site out of mind urban lives. not to sound bitter !but true it is!

NOTE: To all the good canadians, those against these bad Seal Hunters. Sealers cost huge amounts of money from other canadians by docking your paycheck via taxes in order to pay for losses cost by the Seal Hunt.

You can help stop arrogant sealers & their nasty hunt.

Report them! If you hear them brag of any violations: no permit. Illegal weapons. Failing to do blink tests. Expired license. Unsafe boats. Overfishing cod. Operating while drunk. Transporting Drugs. Call RNC, DFO & RCMP on them!
