This video is a how-to for installing unsigned drivers in windows 7 x64. I show you how to install a driver, sign it, and enable test mode. The driver I use is for an app named I8kFanGUI, which i use for manually controlling the CPU and GPU fans on Dell Laptops.

  • I did every single thing you did but when i reboot my pc after signing the driver the water mark doesn't appear and fanio.sys doesn't boot up and if i try to run I8kfanGUI it gives me a bsod :( anyway nice vid

  • @PvMHuntr Thanks! Sounds like the FANIO.SYS driver is corrupted...Reboot the PC and push F8 after the splash screen, then Disable driver signature enforcement. Once windows boots up trying reinstalling the I8KFanGui, and the see if it will let you start it up. You should be able to temp run it this way with out signing it. Make sure you right click on your executables and "Run as Admin".
