My thoughts are it's possible that Cindy wanted Baez to get in trouble with the police and that is why she put the braclet in Casey's sock. Cindy does weird things and "this one worked" and the attention is on Baez looking like a fool! Remember it is Baez holding up the funeral for Caylee because they defense hasn't received all the discovery from the State. What better way for Cindy to get back at Baez for holding up Caylee's funeral.

Both Cindy and Baez knew that the bracelet would be found and it would hit the press and Casey would appear to care after all.

I think Leonard might be right, and that Cindy was the one who packed her clothes and gave her the bracelet
And even if Casey didnt get to actually KEEP the bracelet, she'll get to know about them finding it in her clothing, and that will ensure her enough that her mother is still on her side
