@capefin JFK Graduated from Harvard, Recieved many awards from his service in the U.S. military,created the Peace Corps, won the Pulitzer prize, was am active member in the Civil Rights movement,and he played a big part in having NASA get a man to the moon. So do not tell me John Fitzgerald Kennedy did not accomlish andything in his life time or during his Presidency.

@mabiniss2 I think Bentsen's point was that Quayle may have had the same amount of Congressional experience, but that because JFK was a 'great man', 12-14 years was sufficient experience for JFK to be a competent leader, but would not be sufficient for an ordinary senator like Quayle.
