  • @mabiniss2 lol......of course he never said "he was" jack kennedy.......first of all kennedy was dead.....and second....he doesn't look like kennedy does he?

  • @mabiniss2 I think Bentsen's point was that Quayle may have had the same amount of Congressional experience, but that because JFK was a 'great man', 12-14 years was sufficient experience for JFK to be a competent leader, but would not be sufficient for an ordinary senator like Quayle.

  • If you play it back frame by frame, you can actually watch Quayle's heart breaking.

  • I don't think Dan Quayle ever "got up from the mat" after that blow.
