This is the morning of my first chemotherapy treatment. I am a patient at University of Chicago. I am looking forward to getting this treatment because at this point my cancer Hodgkins Lymphoma is really preventing me from doing a lot of things. I can barely walk to my car without a shortness of breath. Simple chores like making the bed has become extremely challenging. Through the support of my family and friends i have found the strength to tackle this disease head on. I do have my moments of depression. However, I have been documenting my experience with the hope that others suffering from my disease or other disease's can find the courage to fight for tomorrow!
