Goalkeeper with ARMBoard
The first project evaluated the possibilities of LabVIEW on ARM used in mobile robotics. A football goalkeeper robot was to be implemented based on qfix components and the new ARMBoard. The basis platform was the Crash-Bobby kit which has already been successfully used by some teams in the Robocup. The LabVIEW programming is new.
The goalkeeper had to fulfill the following criteria:
• Only move within the penalty area
• Recognize the ball and keep eye contact
• Defend the goal when the ball is in reach
