Demo version
In 2001 I was an asshole 26 year old living in Atlanta Georgia. On the weekends I would drive an hour to Athens, Georgia to get shitfaced and somehow week after week I ended up passing out on a couch located in a house at 369 Finley Street. In that house practiced one of the best bands I have, and probably ever will, hear called the Carrie Nations. For some unknown reason not a lot of their shit exists on youtube so here's the demo CD they gave me forever ago. I like these versions of the songs way better than the ones they would later re-record and release on their album on Plan-It-X records called "Be Still". Andre (and I think Ian) at the time were way into Guided By Voices and they recorded these songs themselves in their best appropriation of an Alien Lanes style lo-fi recording.
I really love their music, but sometimes i have no idea what they are saying and can't find lyrics anywhere. It is a shame, but still they have a great sound.

@ClockworkEarth Lyrics, just for you:
Miles away from the warzone, underneath a little catastrophe
Woke up to find some star's head, sold my last ticket to the walking dead
Figure the factories have closed their doors, all my little beauty marks are off to saturn
Enemies fighting over turkish goods, I left my golf course back in the woods
Where you should be, alone with me
and you can know what it's like feeling occupied, you'd feel small if you were occupied

@ClockworkEarth
And just like a foreigner, your mother and I
Will come with armies blazing and save every amazing son
