@mrfalafl I understood you just fine, I know about Catholicism. I have tons of friends who are traditional Catholics. I never said Tony & Carmela were divorced, i said THEY were SEPARATED. Carmela did hire a divorce lawyer, the only reason she did not get divorced was because the lawyers got scared shitless once they found out she was married to Tony, a Mob boss. I live in an Italian American Neighborhood with plenty of Catholics who get Divorced every day. It's 2012 for God's sake.

In a Catholic marriage, it doesn't matter what the circumstances. They could be living in separate countries. Once they're married, they're married. That's it. End of story. Finito.
The only thing that can end a Catholic marriage is the death of one of the partners.

@mrfalafl Tony left the house after carmela had asked him to leave. He was living out of his home for a while. I don't know what world you live in, but i would call that separation, however brief it may have been!
