I snapped my tib and fib downhill mountain biking, got compartment syndrome and needed to have both sides of calve sliced all the way open to release the blood swelling that was drowning my muscles, after that two other surgeries I FINALLY got my IM ROD and six screws...that was in June 11, I can kinda walk but still rehabbing, Can't wait to shred on my bike again! Good luck to all of you recovering!!!

I slammed doing some downhillbiking. My foot looked just as fucked up as yours, but I put it back in position as i sat there screaming and shaking and was completely pale and sweaty. that was the most hardcore thing I've ever done. Haha unfortunately it's hard to forget..

thats pretty gnarley. I just broke my tibfib riding my dirtbike. both bones poped out and it hurt. i had to have surgery with flexible pins or rods. what did you get in your? like did you have surgery? and my leg what like twisted like yours. thats gnar

Ignore the gay name...it's my friend's profile. I just broke my tibia and fibula about three weeks ago. My tibia broke and poked out the front of me leg. So yeah. They had like a "closed reduction" where they just pushed it back into place. Hurt like a mo fo. It happened playing baseball....hahaha. Embarrassing.

omg wow that looks reaaaaally painful. i broke my leg jumping off a ladder for a dare...broke four toes...ouch.
i wore a cast and had crutches for 6wks. then a couple of months after i knocked my little toe in the edge of my parents bed and my little toe snapped and went through my skin..blood and everything i had a surgery :]
...i remember i was just pinching it. what did you do to help cure the pain?
