Kelly's Back Yard Garden - May 15, 2011 - Having a Hail of a time!!!

Just a real quick video of my garden right after a hail storm. I think everything survived. It was coming down so hard I thought for sure that it was going to snap my pepper plants but they made it through. They are situated kind of under the eve of the house so it sheltered them just enough. I've seen this plenty of times in Missouri but this is the first time since I lived in Northern California that this has happened. Strangely enough, my wife and daughter came home 15 minutes after I recorded the video and all signs of hail were gone. Crazy weather... I'm not out of the woods just yet either. The forecast is for this to continue tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too bad. I'll keep you posted. Bye for now.

That is crazy! I've never been in a hail storm but being in Florida, even hail looks like winter wonderland for me! LOL. I hope your garden made it! :)

wow amazing. weather is crazy here in ohio too, wont stop raining. luckily i have plants in raised beds and containers too, so everything is ok.
