Former Speaker of the US House of Representatives and GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich visited with Simon Conway at WHO Radio's Crystal Studio at the Iowa State Fair.

Gingrich sees no action in Washington, DC to get the economy growing again. Focus on jobs, repeal Dodd Frank bill that's killing the economy, Sarbanes--Oxley Act, a big burden on businesses, apply Lean Six Sigma, look at the Tenth Amendment, innovative thinking in the area of brain science, dealing with Alzheimer's, a $20 Trillion problem, as well as other ailments.

Gingrich says people are worried enough to make a big difference in their votes this campaign season. "Don't be for me," says Gingrich, "be with me."

  • When it comes to Sarbanes Oxley, he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. SOX was the best thing the U.S. ever did to protect those that risk their capital in the markets. No question about it.
