I like the outro on the JA version, but this is sooo '66 San Francisco garage/psyc

Love this as an alternate version. The moody rythm guitar really captures the dark beatnik, pre hippie and over the top psychedelic era that would follow.JA's version is tighter and more intense but this one has lots of atmosphere.

Wow this blew me away, very intense without overstating it.

Sucks compared to the later incarnation. Funny how so many 50s and 60s songs were improved upon by the 2nd or 3rd take on them by other artists. Today, though, re-do a song and you'll get pounded on for tainting a classic.
I LOVE this version actually better than the hit version, really raw sounding And Father Bruce another great gem. !000 times better than We built this city, what went wrong there?

noo this studio version was called someone to love, the name didn't change till after the single was made, I can't remember if JA changed the name or if TGS changed it for live performances
