Join Churches Helping Churches as we come alongside the pastors and churches in Japan to help them rebuild. The earthquake and tsunami are austere reminders that any physical structure we build is not permanent. As we launch our mission in Japan, we will be looking to build admittedly temporal structures, but we'll be doing so so that people can come together as a church to build one another up in the body of Christ, placing their hope in the one eternal, unchanging, unmoving God.
Why do we help the church? It's not at the expense of or in neglect of general humanitarian aid. Rather, it's in recognition that churches often represent one of the most durable community structures, and therefore working through them is one of the most effective ways to rebuild a community in the wake of a natural disaster.
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10

We have been in place one month after the disaster, the situation is regrettable, but we feel that God will do something very big in Japan and we are here to do parts of the move of the Lord!
