omg, youre dead on my friend. i totally agree. hannity said on radio how much hes given to charity too. in the span he made $2.5 million he gave $3,600 to charity. thats pretty bad considering im considered lower class and i give atleast $500 a year to military spouse/survivors and veterans charities. goes to show who really cares between liberals and conservatives. barack still isnt helping his poor brother in africa yet tells us its our duty to take care of our neighbors. lol. what a joke.

you guys dont seem to realize, either way, we'll be paying higher taxes, which will hopefully boost the economy, and help the citizens in the LONG run! so what if you dont get those few extra bucks a month, most of you will probably spend it on items that aren't necessary, i.e. candy, tv, cable, etc. When you should be spending it on paying electric/water/ rent/mortage, and IRA. People will never learn and waste money.

Remember though the Bush taxes are expiring soon and Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama won't be renewing them which means that they will go up to 44% plus the 3% income tax which goes up to as much as 47%, plus ss tax, plus new taxes on 401ks death tax, capital gains, plus others? Yeah! Actually, Obama will give 40+% of the tax refunds to people who don't pay any taxes at all... so it's even better! They get other people's tax money. So cool. shame on you barack obama and biden to equate patriotism and the amount of taxes i'm giving the government. ma wife and I work full time even working on weekends, were on the highest tax bracket, live in a state with a high state tax. The government takes more than 1/3 of what I earn and Barack Obama and Joe Biden wants more. No way. I'll work 3 days a week rather give my money away. Call me unpatriotic

If the government taxed us less, we could give more and be real patriots. I'm not saying that we shouldn't pay our taxes. Paying taxes is the law. But I'm just saying that taxes take away from people's ability to show voluntary kindness. Joe Biden is not advocating voluntary kindness. He's advocating an obligatory increase in taxes. That means the only reason you pay is because they'll lock you up if you don't, not because of patriotism. You can't express patriotism when it's forced upon you.
