If I summarize the points I was trying to present through this dialog

1. Mr. Jayathilake has to be appreciated for what he has done, without considering his past records

2. It is a wrong practice not to appreciate good at present due to bad done in the past

3. I am not a supporter of Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha

4. Action is important, valuable than words

5. It is wrong to point finger at others without asking the question what I can do?

6. It is easy to criticize than actually doing something.

I don't care what race you are or what nationalist you are, I was just addressing to your points, because they were based upon misconceptions and misunderstandings. I totally disagree with people whom having attitudes like yours, whom questions everything (Excluding themselves) do nothing constructive.

I was involved--I'm not saying how because this an internet forum and already my life maybe at stake for challenging the Government--in a recent 'trip' to the north. I have first hand knowledge, sir, of how the GOSL staged the camp that Ban-ki moon was going to visit. Scanners and various other medical equipment were rushed to the camps just hours before the visit to 'impress' the UN general secretary. Even then he said the conditions were 'appalling'. lol

Okay, I'm sorry. I'm glad that you don't take everything as the biblical truth from these people, which is an admirable thing in itself. But, you are aware that I'm a sinhalese person--after all, we are all not card-carrying nationalists. Like all other sinhalese people I want to see the end in sight, but the GOSL is too busy repeating the fact that we 'won' the war...over and over again. Thus the countless GOV sponsered parades and cut-outs and banners hailing the 'king'.

Do I sounds like the official speaker of the GOSL. I challenge you to show me a single statement which I appreciate GOSL in this whole dialog. I don't agree with the number of Ministers in the government, corruption and the management. I didn't say the GOSL is transparent and clean. Why are you asking questions on what I didn't tell. That show your inability to continue a dialog. But still you didn't answer my question on your actions to help displaced Tamil people.

I ask you again sir, if the sri lankan government has nothing to hide, why is it so annoyed each time an independent investigation is called for? I mean if the GOV is so clean and pure, let the hypocrites come and investigate; eventually they'll find nothing and go, right?

But UN doesn't have charges for corruptions, for robing the money and goods of their philanthropists. So you can't trust any of the following organizations (Which are part of UN) (UNICEF), (UNDP) , (UNV), (UN-HABITAT), (WFP) You can contribute to any of these agencies.
