Boston Tea Party Re-Enactment.
A powerful dramatization of the events leading up to and during the boston tea party.

  • How did you make that boat? Like specific directions?

  • @XDhinchman

Glad you liked the ship. Its pretty bad really, but if you actually wanted to make it, here is how.

Hull is a box of cooks matches, the masts are 4 matches glued together and glued to the matchbox, with some horizontal matches glued together in the base, to form a strong base for the masts. Just glue more cooks matches onto the lower masts, to get the necessary height.

  • The spars are again, just glued horizontally onto the masts. The sails are my favourite part, they are made of teabags. The bowsprit didn't seem strong enough on its own, so i made a small A-frame to help give some stability. All that is then left is to fill the hold/matchbox with tea and the match heads, and your ready to shoot your very own master and commander movie.
