  • Simple minded notions, that have NO bearing on reality in this day & age.

During the Vietnam Conflict combat exposure was limited, and GI benefits were considerable.

Today combat exposure is infinite, and GI benefits are all but nonexistant.

We fight like a bunch of creeps, that don't know what we are doing most of the time.

War Criminal MERCENARIES run amok all over the place, for a thousand dollars a day with impunity.

What this old GI says, just is no longer the case.

  • RIP Col. Robert L. Howard war hero and friend to many.

  • This man and the men like him are who should be revered in the United States rather than reality tv and celebrity athletes and actors. I knew nothing of the unselfish acts of heroism committed by men of this magnitude prior to educating myself of their actions. It is a true shame that the stories of our nations warriors are not taught in our classrooms.

  • The song in the beginning is The Green Leaves of Summer by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

  • Never knew this hero started out enlisted & worked his way to Colonel . Makes an old Army grunt proud.... Army Strong at it's best... God bless him....

  • Thank you Sir<3<3 RIP<3<3

  • A giant among men. A living breathing legend. You leave behind a legacy most will never come close to achieving and a grateful nation. RIP Col. Bob Howard.

  • OHH thank god.. that first piano tune at beginning.. I thought that sarah mclachlan song was going to play, I was about to cry my eyes out before it even started

  • God Bless Col. Howard RIP

    SFC USA ABN Ret.

  • Rest in Peace Colonel Howard. Heroes would not be forgotten.
