Here's my buddy.Dave...in the company of...well, one does not have to be "Einstein" to ascertain, that a particular gentleman would appear to be fairly keen on drums !.Although the picture could definitely be better..I have enhanced it, as such as I'm able. It's the music that matters,of course..I have the complete concert which lasts for 54 mins. From the private collection of Colin Kellam.

  • Schnitter was one of the "young turks" of the '70s, with 4 solo albums that should at least be available for download. I saw him blow away everybody, including Brecker--more exciting than Shorter, Henderson, Branford (Golson was never in the same league). hope he's still practicing and playing. The only weakness I noticed was a somewhat pinched lower register--on the other hand, Coltrane practically lost the lower end. Stitt, Hawk, Dexter were full throughout all of the tenor's registers.
