The reason it is wrong is because the kennel club are sick barstards and expect dogs heads to be so small they have brain damage (king charles cav's) and german shepards to have there back legs so sloped that everytime they step they are killing themselves. DONT WRITE BK SAYING IM WRONG IVE GOT DOGS MYSELF AND ID RATHER THEM BE HAPPY THAN LOOK THE WAY I WANT THEM I MEAN WTF GIVE SOME RESPECT TO THE DOGS!

Coz they thought that people who went to crufts were realy horrible tothe dogs. they dont know anything. there stupid (the prtesters are horrible and stupid not the dogs, dont get confused Lol)
-
why were they protesting?

I Agree!
The day i went 2 crufts Protesters were walking around chancting things nd threataning that if we left our dogs for a minute they would poison them and then let them go..!

However they are attempting not to go the way of the AKC who became much more stringent and lost a good number of breeders, who simply carry on what they are doing and set up rival organisations. It's a fine line.

Except the KC has been behaving responsibly, or trying to. It has set up numerous health programs and watches, and these were set up long before the program ever aired; I'm referring to programs set up at least 10 years ago when I first attended the show. The problem is the KC is a voluntary organisation, they cannot force breeders, they can make sanctions of course and attempt to impose the rules much more strictly upon both breeders and exhibitors and I will not dispute this.

First of all, it was called 'Pedigree Dogs Exposed ' and secondly, it most certainly was not a 'silly programme'. The BBC was quite right not to cover Crufts this year or next, until the Kennel Club start to behave responsibly by not condoning the bad breeding of dogs. The welfare of dogs is paramount. I speak as a first time exhibitor at Crufts who strongly believes it is the duty of all dog owners to strengthen the breed line, not decimate it in the desire to win trophys.
If the rspca has lost the kennel club one of its main sponsers by convincing the bbc to pull out then they should give the kennel club the 400,000 pounds they were given. Its disgusting that the bbc have pulled out and the RSPCA have said such bad things. The dogs love going to ALL shows and look forward to it. And what about the protesters who went around giving the dogs food contaning poison to kill the dogs? how is that not wrong? sick bastards.

It's the BBC playing politics again instead of being a TV channel.
The anti dog brigade want to get rid of dogs & ultimately all pets, pretending to be pro animal rights they worm their way into groups like the RSPCA and Dog trust and so on and then push for rules that make dog ownership ever more difficult and come up with smear campaigns like that run by the BBC against Crufts / KC. If there's a problem they could mention it for sure, but note how they fall over themselves to pull out.
