Here's a tutorial on how to play "my" acoustic version of Walking In Memphis by Marc Cohn. The chords are F-G-C-Am, and Csus.

  • this guy's cover of walking in memphis is awesome- but this tutorial isn't necessary. part of musicianship is being an individual, all you need to know is the chord progression, and with that, you should make it your own. that doesn't take away from the cover or the tutorial however- they are both great.

  • @JW10OB agreed

  • i disagree. i learned how to play it just by watching this vid. off course he doesn't explain everything step by step, but i think he really lays down the most important part

  • very nice lesson, if people didnt understand this shit from the way you explained it, its way too difficult for them to play it anyways.

  • a tip this can also be done with full open cords if you find bar cords hard ty for the vid

  • well thanks for the tutorial dude...ive played the same four chords....GCDE in the first three frets for about 15 years now...i suck...but your version of the song did inspire me to be better, thanks again. I'll admit, at first i thought you looked like a douche (no offense) and I wasn't gonna stick around and listen...then you started playing and I was like "oh $h!t, now I'm hooked" anyways....nice job

  • Glad you showed us how. I thought it was too difficult to play.

  • Thats is the worst out of tune guitar iu have ever heard on u tube
