I dont really understand goverment problems and economical problems. This game is too complicated for me.

I want to be a pro on this game so much but im just a noob to the game. Every building goes bankrupt and their are so many problems in my city that I give up before I really start. Simcity 5 is coming out in about a year and I want that game but how can I play? I cant build cities with skyscrapers. Its like I want something but I cant play it?

Is it sad that Monte Cristo was shut down? Yes, yes it's very bad, and I want original games as much as you, but fuck man. If someone wants to buy the next cod, let them.

The gaming industry is ill because most people are paying for the rehashes of the same crappy first person shooter every year, but studios that come with innovative stuff like this or Anno 2070 can't even freaking survive?

You are all contributing to the death of PC gaming. I've seen many other PC developing titles studios close or being in serious financial trouble lately.

So next time you're going to spend your money on something, consider where they're really needed.

The same thing is probably going to happen to the studio behind Anno 2070 and much like Monte Cristo, they did nothing wrong so why?

Well, this isn't 20th century any more. Now that games have more complex gameplay mechanics and gorgeously detailed 3d graphics, it takes many more man hours to develop a game (remember when tycoon was made by a single man?). That means they require more sales, BUT they're not getting.

Listen up everyone! This is an amazing game. But because the majority of you didn't buy it or pirated it instead, the sales didn't meet the expecations and the studio Monte Cristo was SHUT DOWN. It's all YOUR FAULT. But at least you purchased MW3 and BF3 both and are happy with them, right? Fuck you!

This means we won't be seeing another game like this except for new SimCity which is going to be DUMBED DOWN to death becasue it's an EA game.
