Lack of motivation is a pity excuse for Bama. If Bama would have beaten Utah, I'd be hearing of how motivated Bama was. I take it Cincy lost to Florida and TCU lost to Boise for the same reason that Bama lost to Utah (but they didn't). USC was motivated enough to play in the 2003 and 2007 Rose Bowls despite having legit gripes to play for the BCS NC.
Nick Saban said he and his team were happy to be at the Sugar Bowl and said that the game was very important to them. They took it seriously....

OK, Bama's biggest win was at Georgia. Fair enough on the Florida game cause Florida needed 14 points in the 4th to come-from behind and win. But that Utah game against Bama. The game was virtually over after the 1st quarter. Utah led by double-digits all game.
The two "blowouts" were both on neutral fields (Florida SEC title game and Utah in the Sugar bowl).

@ClipCoug yes 10 and 14 points were SUCH blowouts. considering florida ran the score up in the 4th. bama had no motivation against utah. also ole miss was not bama's best game. i dont know maybe the true blowouts against two top 10 teams they played one on a neutral field the other the road
