Sometimes I feel like just coming home and playing music for the rest of my life.
I was so lucky to grow up in New Orleans, I was right in the heart of the City so I saw some of the greatest musicians in the World right dere in City.

Dr John...he IS New Orleans. More than that, he's a musical legend and an American treasure. Long live the DOCTA!

ich versteh nicht ein einziges Wort. Schade.

He reminds me of something Vinicius De Moraes said once about being the blackest white man in Brazil. This could also apply to Dr. John no?

This man embodies and expresses everything that made me fall in love with New Orleans when I was a kid.
Thanks for posting! :-)
Dr. John IS A LIVING LEGEND! He is one of the greatest music artists of the modern era! I feel blessed to have met him and see him play in concert half a dozen times! He's got an AMAZING supporting band, too!
