  • yeah but you need to progress otherwise you will get too tired and just stop training all together, most pros have been training from young ages and theyre bodies have developed into intense training slowly, best thing to do is train 3 times a week for about a month, then train 4 times a week then a few more months later than 5 times, you have to allow your body to recover otherwise you will damage joints etc, its better to do 3 great workouts a week than 5 or 6 shiity workouts.

  • I disagree many fighters use circut training for conditioning plus what idiot would just use this for a single training method you have to combine strength training with it aswell as cardio but nothing beats simple sparring

  • @nekftw There are advantages and disadvantages to any body type. If you're 250lbs of lean muscle don't go out there trying to fight like Clay Guida or you will gas in 20 seconds no matter how hard you've trained. The lactic acid just builds up too fast in big muscles so you have to learn to control your pace and relax as much as possible. As a big heavyweight, I like to force my opponents to carry my weight by always keeping constant pressure on them. This gasses my opponents and leaves me fresh

You'll learn how to fight and be on par with the men in your classes and then you can play around with tweaking certain moves to your own style if you need to. Really though, there is no difference. The only difference is that you working out with men won't make you look like a bulky man because of the testosterone differences in a male and female body. Also, many females tend to have better endurance than males. In MMA, endurance is key. I'm no expert, but I did my research.
