  • This is a GREAT example of guys giving a shit about how they came across. The music, the vocals, the performance aspect. They are working their asses off but having fun. GREAT GREAT performance. No one these days can do this. NO ONE

  • @revenger700 WOW, you just don't get Wayne! A musical genius!!

  • Wow...this has not aged well

  • bryan holmes has influenced my drumming in so many ways. dude had fills in power pop songs like keith moon had for classic rock. so many many great fills and not overbearing

  • There was a traveling show band (all cover songs) called The Sensors out of Atlanta, and they could cover The Producers pretty well note for note, lick for lick. This is some good old music : )

  • @EricColeman Minneapolis so...at least the upper midwest is well represented!

  • @aliensporebomb Not if you're in Central IA. I have it

  • I must be the only guy in 100 miles who has a CD copy of their last albuim "Coelacanth".

  • @bobsacco The bass player for the Producers was Kyle Henderson - one of the best players Atlanta ever "produced" . He started in a band called White Face from the late 70s - and joined with Van Temple to form the Producers in the early 80s.

  • One of the best PowerPop band the U.S. produced in the early 80's.

What's remarkable is how they are still ignored. If you go to AllMusic.com and look at their Bio is completely blank! Even though AllMusic.com gave them a 5 STAR review of their 1981 release!!!! - allmusic.com/artist/the-producers-p5188/biography

Their bass Player Tim Smith eventually went on to join Sheryl Crow's band.

  • these dudes rock better than sting was and is

  • Classic 80s band---one of the best and one of the most underrated. Go Producers!!! I remember when you went down to Dominican Republic in '84!!!
