  • Bought every 45 rpm Ricky ever recorded. Was shocked and saddened that New Year's Eve when his plane went down. Stayed up all night watching CNN hoping I'd hear he survived. Thanks for posting this rare but great Ricky tune.

  • I'm happy you enjoyed this post. Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment.

  • I don't seem to remember this one from Ricky, but it's the usual polished performance from him of a very nice little song. I'd better put it in to my faves with both thumbs up and all the stars, great post Rey !

  • Hi Mick -

Thanks for your wonderful comment on this one. It did fairly well here in the states, not sure if it had any real exposure in the UK. Thanks for adding it to your faves. I appreciate it very much.

  • this 45 rpm was a gift from a girl in my ninth grade at Miami Edison junior high in 1964..her name written on the label Decca was Gladys Toro...where ever she is i don't know ...thanks for the memories!!!!

  • This randomly popped into my head, I used to listen to him all the time when I was really little. I feel like no one my age knows who he is.

  • So good... feature on our playlist at Classic Gold Radio... well done

  • always one of my favorites by Ricky although not one of his most well-known songs. really enjoyed the Ricky Nelson exhibit last summer at the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland. spent four days looking at everything several times over. a must see if you get a chance to go.

  • Sounds just like Poor Little Fool. I love all his material, late 60s and 70s also.
